Solar Desalination

Many rural areas do not have access to water purification systems and increasingly many coastal cities may have to depend on sea water for drinking purposes. Solar Desalination can offer a viable means to extract pure water from saline or high TDS water. This method can also be used for processing of RO reject water.

Solar Water Desalination

Brine water is sent through a process of heating and evaporation to separate water from the salts in the water. Water thus separated is condensed back and the distillate is collected as pure water. Of course, further treatment of water needs to be done if it is to be used for drinking.
